Virginia Tech
B.S. Computer Science, minors in Mathematics and Finance.
I'm at Virginia Tech (Aug 2023 — May 2027), reading for a B.S. in Computer Science with minors in Mathematics and Finance.
The three-way split isn't accidental. Optimal Execution research needs all of it: the CS to build the agents, the mathematics to reason about what they converge to, and the finance to know which questions are actually worth asking.
Where I work
- Dataism Lab for Quantitative Finance — quantitative finance research, where the MoE for Order Execution lives.
- REACH Lab — Reimagining Equity and Accessibility in Computing for Humanity. This is where CS Education Research happened, and where I mentored other undergraduates through literature reviews.
- FinTech Club — I'm Co-President.
Things I've done outside class
Placed 15th in the US out of 12,600 teams in IMC's Prosperity 3 trading competition (read what that involved). Presented at the MAOP summer research symposium. Trained six research assistants on search methodology and literature synthesis.
