FinTech Club
Co-President. Speakers, operations, and a trip to Wall Street.
I've been Co-President of Virginia Tech's FinTech Club since May 2026, after serving as Treasurer (Aug 2025 – May 2026) and, before that, as a Market Research Analyst (Oct 2024 – May 2025).
Hokies on Wall Street. We organize an annual trip to New York City where students network with alumni and professionals at firms including Elequin Capital, Evercore, and Citi. For a lot of students at a state school, the hardest part of breaking into finance isn't ability — it's never having been in the room.
Operations. As Treasurer I managed the club's budget and financial operations, funding workshops and initiatives for a community of 100+ members.
Speakers. We organize events with professionals from leading finance and technology firms.
As a Market Research Analyst I led the Evans & Archer replication project under Dr. Daniel Rodriguez.
